I had gotten the 2008 Silver eagle for about 10 bucks through a special offer in the official RedBook and told the people here about that spectacular deal. The only caveat is that they will bug you to buy stuff (call about 4-6 times a year) and will send you junk mail.

However in their junk mail this year was another silver eagle for 14.00 (free shipping) so I thought to share that offer with you as it seems to be a good price?

I am a newbie (only started last year and don't collect more than pocket change) so I just post what I think is good.

Anyway, they will only let you get one and the name of the company is Universal Coin and Bullion. When they call, I remind them I can't afford gold and they say ok and that's it. Or I ignore the call. You will need this number to order it: UINTLRS0109 and here's the phone number 1-800-459-2646

If you have no problem saying no to their other offers, I think it's a good deal.

They advertise in various coin magazines. The latest Coinage Magazine has 3 full page ads for their company. I was always reluctant to purchase anything from them.

Don't be unless you don't want to be called. They are legit. They know me after a while and I've never said yes to anything and mostly ignore the calls (not too many; just a few times a year). My hubby told them not to call his work number and they don't. So not too bad. Worth the price though.
