I just joined this forum. The only reason I have joined this forum is to assist in the education of numismatists where Chinese counterfeits are involved with Canadian Coins. I recognize numerous names from other sites. They should recognize this. MM Everyday coins are offered on ebay and elsewhere. Not only rare dates are involved. Would you like to see a complete set of OBV. markers from a prolific ebay seller of fakes? Let me know? I will spend the time it takes to post them with additional info. I feel Zonad will defend me! :-) Regards halfbuck

Naturally, it alarms me when I hear that any coin is being counterfeited in the marketplace, but doubly as much when I hear that Canadian coins are targeted as well.

This interests me greatly; by all means tell us what you know.

Let me start by saying TY for responding. From the 1921 50 (and 5) cents, to as low as the 1936 10 cents are being counterfeited and brought to the market place every day. I will take the time to post markers for Vickie 5,10,25 and 50 cents, as well as Edw's and Geo V's. I have tracked proof of auctions etc. :-) I have emailed the webmaster here to terminate my membership based on the responses even if only 27 and 1 hr. This effects us all. Watch the 1923 or 25 1 cent you buy. They are on the list.
