Just my opinion but since Gibson had little or no experience with coinage at all, no experience with art design, she being a HR person, if I got one of these I wouldn't care to keep it, I'd sell it.

I'm the same as Livingwater. If I got one, I would sell it pocket the money and get another 2023 Peace dollar.

This thread is a Perfect Example of Collector's Values and Opinions.

I see Some feel it is No Biggy, I feel It Would Be, Because there is a " 0.07%" Chance a Person Could receive One. That Select 200 Will Bring a Value, A Premium to " Collectors ". Those Who Are Fortunate ...

Allow Me, Certain collector's could Care Less, Some Collector's Would Sell it Fast, Some Collector's would Treasure it, Along with All Out Other Numismatic Collectibles, We are a Select, Differing, Passionate Group, That I am Proud to Be a part of... Any One Receive ONE of These

Why did the Mint do as they did, No Morgans.... ? What's on the Horizon, ......

eh, not very interesting. If president Trump struck the coins, now that would be much more interesting.

Smart move with the Mint provide the numismatic communities spreading advertisement for them.
3rd party grading companies and the Mint must be working together.

Not that I've seen. 1 sold raw on ebay for 1259.95, the other 3 listed raw have bids up to $2,700! This video also shows only 1 has been graded at 70 at PCGS so far with the directors strike so kudos to them.

Heck, I don't think there was any advance notification that they were doing it for the Unc 2023 coins! If they do it for the others it'll probably be a surprise.

No notification ahead of time. It was only the peace and not the morgan so if they were to do another directors strike perhaps a morgan proof or the reverse proof morgan and Peace dollars would help also with sales and collector interest. Personally I think they will not do any more director strikes this year but it was cool that they numbered them individually on the cards and a nice surprise to a few collectors who bought them mint direct. The grading is optional, its just that since you cant open the package first and it costs to grade, thats going to skyrocket the value of the few that do get graded due to the registry sets.

@Mike but this is how you would feel...
