mikev50, 1969 LMCs were not plated. It looks like someone worked that cent over with a wire brush or steel wool and a chemical. Just PMD.

which one do you have an issue with? the P of the D cent? You don't really say but imply the P cent - which has been VERY harshly cleaned. maybe polished.
