I received about 10 rolls of brand new uncirculated 2023 penny's. What should I do with them? I'm new to coin collecting so I'm not sure how readily available these rolls are. Would they be worth saving? Selling? Open and searching for errors? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
It will be years before anyone knows if these are a good date or not. Generally pennies are saved in huge quantities and there is very high attrition but neither of these is always true.
I usually take a look at one of the rolls and if it's very nice I save them all. If there are just a few nice coins I save them. If they're all bad I don't bother.
If you collect rolls then save them. Usually selling newer cent rolls isn't very profitable as the shipping & handling costs chews up most of your profit.
