As a chemistry graduate whose father was a university lecturer specializing in platinum chemistry, I have wanted one of these Russian Empire platinum coins - the only circulation platinum coins ever made - ever since I first found out about them. Unfortunately, their prices even for circulated examples are far in excess of the already-high bullion value. They remain just out of reach of my budget.
