I'm storing my ASE's in two segments: a) Bullion; b) Proofs, Burnished, Sets. The bullion examples don't take up very much space at all. The latter nearly fills a large tote as they're mostly in OGP and we all know how much space those boxes take up. @gilly: I'm also hoping the privy mark craze for the ASE issues doesn't get out of hand. Crossing my fingers the three military service anniversary proof Eagles are sold via pre-orders and not via a " free-for-all " as was done with the flowing hair medals were sold last year.

Quote: Now do I add the privy marked bullion coin to my bullion album set or hold it loose I had just bought a new Lighthouse case for this year, because the one I've always had just filled up, one on ever year, except the 2 in 2021. Then they came out with the star privy and ruined it, had to have 2024 split into the 2 cases.

I added an extra blank page for me to label just for privy ASEs in my Dansco album.

John, Sounds like an Excellent idea, Sort of for Unforeseen examples, ... You Bullion Die Hards are to be Commended for Your Determination and Devotion, To the American Silver Eagles Bullion Program its Very Admirable, To say the least, Congrats All, .. If the Privy mark frenzy continues into Mint Marked Examples, V75, for instance, And keeping with All Originally Packaged examples, I would be adaptable to Re-Thinking My position, ...

I know this is old, but I was wondering if anyone found any errors/varieties on these 2024 ASE star privy's if so show them please. I will show mine as well! I read through the replies, nice ASE'S everyone very nice? Though nothing was mentioned about errors/varieties that I noticed. Thank you kindly

G58NoReverse, if your 2024 ASE star privy has errors/varieties, please post pictures in a new topic - I'm sure that many people would be interested in seeing it.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Since this topic was resurrected, I'm wondering, were the star and flying eagle privy.... just a couple flashes in the pan, a couple oddballs, or will this collaboration stuff continue? We had this busy year, starting about last October, with the star privy, and just hasn't let up, star privy, normal bullion, W proof, Congrats set (which changed to a clamshell) flying eagle privy, then the 3 military privies, the Laser privy, the much hyped S proof, the Limited Edition set, oy, what a year! And yet no special set. I think the Mint is avoiding special sets, that's why they're dropping the LESPS.

I fear that privy on ASEs are going to stay around for a while.

Quote: I think the Mint is avoiding special sets, that's why they're dropping the LESPS. Well I think that the dropping of the LESPS could be that the mint thinks it had simply ran it course. That was the 3rd special set they (the mint) produced, they did the Premier Silver Proof Sets from 1992-1998 and the Prestige Proof Sets concurrently with the P:remier sets from 1983-1997. I hope that they will do something else in the near future.

Quote: the Prestige Proof Sets These were the best, IMHO. I need to complete my run of them one day. I only have three.
