A little early and first sign of the 2026 product release schedule. Has a dual date 1776-2026, and the familiar "Liberty Bell/250th" privy mark I like it, if this is what they do for the Uncirculated, that would be fine with me, that'll be the first Uncirculated with a privy. The COA is shown in the last image I posted. Your can find it by "shopping" the subscriptions. If you look at your subscriptions, it won't show up. Edited by Gilly 11/06/2025 7:43 pm

Quote: wow very nice - I want one (of course) So it seems like, this will just be what the 2026W will be. Nothing really special to do, just buy the W proof. Again the interesting thing will be if this will carry over to Uncirculated W, and the Congratulations Set. Hard to get the year sort of lined up in my head. No S proof, no Limited Edition set. No military anniversary ASEs. It could turn out being relatively uneventful on the ASE front.

Wow, thanks, Gilly! Quote:Hard to get the year sort of lined up in my head. No S proof, no Limited Edition set. No military anniversary ASEs. It could turn out being relatively uneventful on the ASE front. I kind of hope that to be the case after 2025!

Full disclosure here, I did see this info on that Son of A Silver Stacker YouTube channel. The observation about the Congrats set was in a comment made on the video about the dual date W. Man I went through the subscriptions on the Mint website and didn't notice that about the Congrats set, then saw that guys comment. Went back to the website and looked again, and saw it. The images I posted are downloaded from the mint website.

Honestly, the design is rather pedestrian. You'd think that for the 250th, the Mint would go all out. Even re-using the 200th Eisenhower reverse would be a vast improvement.

I think the Mint's version of 'going all out' is a dual date & a PM . And, they have had some pretty good sales results of late due to privy marks. . .I agree, Brandmeister, I expected more.

From what I've read on various outlets, the Mint isn't especially "fond" is some of the past special releases. Such as the lettered edge, and anything enhanced. I've never heard anything about the plain reverse proofs. But you go beyond that, and you get quality rejects galore. And if anything, more than likely, the pool of really quality oriented craftsmen at the Mint has gone down, not up. Probably robotics will be the solution as we go along here. They are already helping. My point is, I'm thinking for now, privy marks are the solution to creating anything unique. I hope I'm wrong. Isn't the last special finish a 2021? We didn't have any special finish for the first 10 years, but I'll look to see, since 2006, what was the longest stretch of time between special finish ASEs? 2013 West Point set, then 2016 was lettered edge, not a special finish, but "special". But if you don't count lettered edge, then the answer is 2013 to 2019 for the 2 ERPs (I'm not listing all special finishes, just the length of time between special finish releases.OK, the list is 2006, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, and 2021. Plus 2016 lettered edge, and privy marks 2020, 2024(star) and this year). So we're not in record length of time yet. But you'd think if they are ever doing a special finish again, 2026 is your year.
