I wish the price would drop already , I'm way sick of fast food.Id heard big chain fast food outlets were a good place to get a 2009 in change as theres such a big turnover I guess and they get rolls of coins for the till. What I find strange is 2008 are very seldom present in change , nikels and dimes I mean. So far I've had one solitary 2009p dime in change , it paid for the burger In all that time I've only come across 2 x 2008 dimes,no nickels.

Prices continue to fall!As of tonight, since my last update, 2009 P Jefferson nickel rolls have been selling anywhere from $31.00 with free shipping to just under $40.00 including shipping. The average final bid is around $32.00 with $4.00 shipping for a cost per nickel at around .90 cents per nickel. That's if you buy a whole roll. I feel like I'm watching the ticker tape in that movie with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd in "Trading Places" over the price of orange juice futures. When do I start to buy? Probably at $25.00 a roll with free shipping.

How far do you think it will drop before settling? I'm betting it will eventually settle around $10-15 a roll for 2009 nickels.

Well I broke down and won a roll. [eBayItem]290339205159[/eBayItem] I feel a little embarrassed, but it could have been worse. I could have waited but I want to do something with these anyways. Time is money too and I am tired of wasting time watching these. Everyone has a price, mine was $23.81 plus $4.95Cost me $28.76or .72 cents per nickel.
