Today the mint raised the price of the Ultra High Relief to $1439. Nearly $400 over current spot for an ounce of gold. They've produced plenty of them and the "high grade" numbers just keep increasing.
So I did a bit of digging on ebay and I found this auction that ended 4 days ago.
Ads in the current issue of Coin World Magazine have UHR going for $1,339 slabbed NGC MS69. The price may have gone up a touch but I'm sure they'd still sell you one for under $1,400.
Remember that the ads you see the the Coin World were submitted a couple weeks ago. If you called the dealers you probably couldn't buy the coins at those prices and it is hard to say what price they would quote today.
