I have two complete sets of silver State Quarters and territories, and have been working on a complete graded set all PF69. I also have allot of extra silver proof sets both just the state silver set and the 1999 through 2009 full silver sets. I may sell some in the future the extra sets still trying to make my mind up if I want to keep or sell the extra sets.

I went kind of crazy on the State Quarters have the complete first day covers in albums, two complete regular sets of proof State Quarters. Numerous regular proof sets extra. I did have %2500 in rolls I collected over the 10 years but about a year ago I took them to the bank and dumped them invested that in silver. Anyway I have way to many State Quarters still in proof sets and complete albums containing all uncirculated coins both P & D. Trying to take it easy now on the National Park Quarters it does get addictive.

Lots of talk about completing the State Quarters, now that the Parks quarters are being spewed....er....released into circulation. In two years the State Quarters will be rising dramatically, as you can see the artistic infusion into the State Park quarters began during the final years of the State Quarters. You can see echoes of the adopted designs of the parks quarters in the 2009 State Quarters releases. Hard to believe the clad quarters of some years are outpacing the silver sets, but there it is. Scarcity still rules the collecting world. Imagine trying to complete the Washington quarter set in 2020. Ouch.

I now have 6 complete sets; 2 silver proof, 2 proof, and 2 Unc (the silver proofs are the most beautiful). I'm now working on 2 circulated sets of only AU coins. Actually the AU sets have become the most fun because I'm taking the coins from rolls and what I find in pocket change. Denver coins are rare here in SE VA. They show up at a ratio of about 1:12.
Maybe the next state set will be silver that I find in dealer's junk boxes. I hear they're already showing up.

John 1 in my opinion you did. You didn't go much over your budget and you got the coin you wanted. Plus its graded and proof 69. Well done my man.

I have been thinking about putting together a few albums of P,D,S,SS State Quarters for my kids while they are still relatively cheap to put together but with all the heal;th issues and personal issues I have had this past 2 years I haven't been able to even start them. I already have most of them including the 99 silver in proof sets but I need more than the two of each S,SS that I already have

Yes, I have at least one set of Silver proof State Quarters still in the mint package. On the ATB coins I took a different approach, I picked up 2010,2011 and 2012 Graded PF-70 by NGC I aalso stuck back quite few bank rolls of the 50 State series

I have two sets and am contemplating on starting a third and final set. This final set I am hoping will be the best of the lot.

I collect US silver coins and have purchased silver proof sets from the mint since 1995. The only modern silver I am missing are the Unc. Bicentennial.

Quote: This is my BU/Proof/Silver Proof set. Beautiful! Quote: I know, I know, turn the quarters around. I never thought of that when I assembled the stinking book That is okay. But you could have at least photographed the reverse for us.

Freedom, I actually really like how you have the obverse side up. Never would have thought to do that, but I like it!
