What a good price for $1 Hawaii emergency note? It's marked as CU but is somewhat discolored.

What's a good price for CU - 1935 G $1 silver cert WITH MOTTO?

Also is there anything else I should look into before buying it?

Thank you
Peace

Anyone have any comments. Prices on ebay seem to be all over the place and this is a private transaction and I need to decide by tonight.
Thanks

I paid $20 for my AU Hawaii, and $1.50-$2 tops for any silver cert. Whether it be VG-CU, * or no *, motto or no motto.

You're buying off ebay or from a shop?

Thanks bvalania. For some reason I thought the "with motto" had a premium. I will probably try to negotiate on the Hawaii down to $20 or lower. I am not sure what the discoloration is and will look at it closer. The notes are with an individual locally.

I decided to pass on it for the time being. The discoloration on the note is just too much for me. It's almost like it had been exposed to a lot of light for an extended period of time.
As a side note I don't even know why I even started looking at it as I told my self that I was going to stay with post silver cert's.

$20 for a $1 Hawaii would be outstanding if CU.
