Seller info Member id redcfw4 ( Feedback Score Of 0 ) This scares me, the first transaction the seller has ever had is this coin? I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole!.... but that's just my humble opinion.

It's definitely a forgery. The date is a dead giveaway. Here's a comparison of the seller's coin with the date of a real one below it... Look closely at the 1 and 4 in the date. They are not even close. Then add in the fact that the seller is from Hong Kong. I've reported it.

And it's described as "Year 1894 Old US One Dollar Eagle Coin."

"Please see the picture, the picture is take from the coin." Yeah, buddy. I didn't need to look at the photo - one glance at his feedback was enough for me. Get 'im off ebay, quick! Good job, cwb8539!

It looks like the seller discovered that the coin was counterfeit because it has been removed.

I don't remember the name but it sure looks like the same style of add to the T, just a different coin of course.

I also reported redcfw4 yesterday, "no longer a member now" it is a pain you have to put in each item number. Yes this seller from Hong Kong bgtypw2 is either the same guy or part of a ring, the coins look the same as the ones from redcfw4 his wording is also the same, and this guys feedback is a dead give away. Who knows how many more of these Hong Kong sellers are out there just flooding the market with coins buyers actually think are real. I reported all of bgtypw2 items to ebay also, hopefully ebay will get on it faster, because some have already been sold. I told them they should shut down ALL Hong Kong coin sellers we all know they are fakes and they are going to ruin coin collecting. I am already afraid to bid on any coins now unless they are graded for fear I will just be buying a fake that is already here, and you know there are MANY... If you see any others from Hong Kong put them up, I will report them as should others... -Hank
