I mean we all know silver is up but golly, this is ridiculous. Numismedia has it at $169. I entered $150 as my max bid hoping to get lucky. Hope this is not a new standard. Gyrene7483 Pillar of the Community United States 1704 Posts	Posted 05/19/2011 02:01 am The May 13 greysheet has the 1902-O MS-64 at 111.00/120.00 bid/ask and MS64 DMPL at 2,500.00 so a non deep mirror proof like coin would be somewhere in between but where would that be? Apparently in that Heritage auction not quite 3 times the money of a non proof like. This date is a good example of the excessive premium that some of the Morgan dollars have with DMPL surfaces. fenton Pillar of the Community United States 4992 Posts	Posted 05/19/2011 02:29 am Many people will pay a premium for a good PL coin (high reflectivity) due to the dramatic price difference between PL and DMPL. If a coin is 95% of the way to DMPL, it will command a big price premium possibly as much as we see in this auction. Report this Post to the Staff
