1962-D Is It Real Or Did The Mint Do It

We still have some bank here that are owned by 1 family. I went to 1 of these banks and found some good penny rolls this one of my finds
I found this 1962-D the rim like like it been used to open a can of paint. but the reverse look it is peeling?
what do you think poor lamination or damage by person poorly made from planchet the mint?

Lamination. Great picture of it, btw

The mint doesn't manufacture the planchets, an outside contractor does.

The bumps on the rim on the obverse are damage.

The reverse, as stated before, is a lamination peel.
