Just pulled this from circulation bank roll... I am not sure what this error type is... though I am pretty sure it is a common one. Just a new collector who is a little shakey on error types. Any help would be appreciated. Oh, it is a 1988 p dime.

Oops... let me try that picture again.
By the way, it is basically a ripple efect, uneven and shallow, throughout the face of the coin. Missing section merely to reduce file size.

Hi Silver

The lines are a combination of flow lines from the metal flowing into the die when struck and abraided die(over polished),, not exactly an error but they are interesting to look at.

Extreme die fatigue - probably one of the more extreme cases I've seen on a dime. Interesting, but as you already point out, common and not valuable.
