DavidZerbato Pillar of the Community United States 1081 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 3:12 pm A full date is no problem, I've never seen an IHC not have a readable date, besides PMD'ed ones. As to full "Liberty," you will probably want VF+. As to what to pay for them, common dates anywhere from $2-$5 for a nice example. Pre 1880 will begin to get much more expensive. Just to let you know, the hardest dates to find nice examples in are probably 1869, 1870, 1871, 1872, 1886 Type II. Then the key dates are 1877 and 1909s with semi keys roughly being 1872, 1864L, 1869, 1908s, 1870 and 1871. If you want MS examples, you'll easily pay $100+, a little less for more common dates in brown. Report this Post to the Staff

DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 08/25/2011 4:35 pm A good start with IHCs is the common 1900-1908 date run. They're easy to find in better grades, and a low-risk way to learn grading and spotting cleaned/damaged coins. Also, there are a lot of interesting RPDs to find. Report this Post to the Staff
