I was wondering what kind of premium foreign currency carries from early 1900s. I'm assuming these mostly go for a dime a dozen. The story behind this I found these in a garage near my house. My neighbor has antiques in his garage all over the place. I gave him a certain amount to fill up rubber maid containers for a certain price. These currencies were just laying on the ground to be ruined so I picked them up and put them in the rubber maid container. I probably grabbed about 200 bills in total. I gave half away to a friend because he collects money too. Well heres the pictures.
German notes of this period are VERY common. There isn't much demand for used and damaged noted because they are so plentiful - say $1 apiece on a good day at ebay - uncirculated notes bring a little more - but not a massive amount more. Again there are rarieties.
