Can you tell me if this is a DDO? the "In Go We Trust", initials and the date look like a true doubling to me. Am I mistaken? just carl Bedrock of the Community United States 20753 Posts	Posted 03/27/2007 6:07 pm To minor to tell for sure. Notice how few dimes ever are noted as doubled. The coin itself is so small, errors like that basically go unnoticed and are seldom sold as double dies. For some strange reason very small coins such as dimes and very large ones like the half dollar are ever shown in large quantities in books, coin shows, etc. Same as most error coins are on the obverse because so few people look carefully at the reverse.
