I came up with these coins recently, and can't quite figure out what to make of them by myself. I think the 1963-D shows doubling on the I in LIBERTY especially, and the reverse 1978 has a flat O on ONE. Should I toss em' back?

I'd set them free...not even good examples to keep. I use a 15x loop and a 10x and 35x magnifier glass and 65x microscope for coins. I also have a 200x coin camera for photos.

The flat 0 is caused from a coin wrapper. The devices are always distorted parallel to the rim with this kind of damage.
