biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 11/26/2012 2:04 pm It is nothing more than a damaged coin with a big scrape mark, dwelling on what caused the damage is a fool's errand that will never result in a satisfactory answer. There is a limited number of ways to cause an error but the number of ways to damage a coin is almost infinite. Learning what can and cannot happen during the minting process allows you to easily determine if something is damage or not. Report this Post to the Staff
