that's freaky. I never saw or heard of one. I looked in "The Authoritative Reference of Lincoln Cents" and didn't see a listing. You may have to wait for the experts to chime in. Good luck! nlp

Looks to be double struck rotated in collar not a doubled die. Very nice find!!

If it were double struck, it would have to be on both sides..not just one. Unless something obstructed the reverse strike, but then there would be brockage. Correct?

I think it is possible that the initial strike on the reverse was obliterated by the second strike. Hopefully Mike Diamond will respond.

Also possible, maybe, that one die or the other broke loose from its' moorings and rotated, either bringing the coin with it (reverse) or not (obverse)? This is....pretty cool.

This is a fake "one-sided" double strike. The second strike on the obverse face was delivered by a fake die.
Error coin writer and researcher.
