As with my other two recent posts, I just got married and my awesome wife got me a few goodies. However, one of my now favorite coins is a silver sixpence she got me to keep on me during the wedding. The saying goes, "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue,...and a Sixpence for Her Shoe." While she didn't have it in her shoes, I did keep it in my jacket pocket. it was a wonderful idea and now this coin is very sentimental for me. I'm surprised she was able to find one though as she just called up a local coin store and they said they had a few. She went in and when she told them it was for our wedding they ended up giving it to her for free as an early wedding present. I thought that was really cool and will always keep that store in mind when I'm in the buying mood. Here are a few pics.
Since it looks like any other similar sixpence, I would suggest that you put it in a cardboard 2x2 and label it, or perhaps your wife labels it and adds a smiley face or some such.
