Hi all, what's the best way to care for zincolns that have exposed zinc? I have found a few DDO's and DDR's that are showing zinc around some of the devices. I fear that one day they will start rotting and eventually be worthless. Any ideas?

Water and humidity will destroy them. My big book of folksy dual-use remedies recommends keeping these types of objects in sealed containers with sticks of chalk.

Simply put them in a 2x2 or similar flip. If for long term, seal with 3M tape on all 3 sides that open. Or just put in those plastic flips and seal. As long as air doesn't get to them, should last a few hundred years. If that doesn't work for a few hundred years, let me know.
Rest in Peace

Badthad would have to confirm but I think if you treated it with verdicare and then put it in a 2x2,that should be good.
