Hi, Why Difference On Two 1958 D Cent, Is That A Good Thing?

I started to ask this question hours and hours ago but this greatly interesting forum has been a distraction and I mean that in a good way. My question - Why the difference on these two 1958 D Lincoln pennies and could the difference be a good thing? I would appreciate any help or advice, Thank you, cil Report this Post to the Staff

Red (new), Red Brown (your first coin), then Brown (Your last coin). Nothing out of the ordinary. Just what they have been through and the elements exposed to etc. I suppose I should add green in there for corrosion affected coins :) Report this Post to the Staff

Circulation also cause coin wear reducing the devices. Die wear also affects coins struck as the die ages, the devices are not as fresh as when the die was new.
