Help Grade A 1939 S Walking Liberty Half

tpg22 Pillar of the Community United States 919 Posts	Posted 10/07/2013 7:56 pm Here is a 1939 S I picked up. I'm not sure if I plan to keep it. I'm not good with identifying die errors compared to damage. This has a line running from the tip of the back claw up to the body. It then picks up again midbody above the leg and runs toward the neck. It then picks up again just behind the neck in the wing portion. I have a few more days to decide if I want it. Other then that the coin is beautiful and fits what I am looking for. I included a blown up version to see if anyone has seen anything like this. With a loop you can see that it is not a scratch in the surface. So what grade do you give it and ever see a line like this? Report this Post to the Staff
