Hello,

Any ideas on the grades for these coins? These coins will be going up for auction next week.

Thanks,
Noah

I don't grade mercs and Lincolns, but the Indian is AU53 and the buff is probably AU58, but might be MS63.

The Indian looks better in hand. I will try to upload better pictures before I auction it.

Current listing reads:

Quote:
Unsearched Wheat cent Roll W/ 1909 VDB? Cent & 1904 VF+ Indian Head cent Showing!

This roll will consist of 50 of the following types of coins:

•Lincoln Wheat Cents
•Lincoln Steel Cents
•Indian Head Cents
•Roosevelt Dimes
•Mercury Dimes
•Barber Dimes
•Flying Eagle Cents
•OR Small Type Coins ( Three Cent Piece, etc.)
•NO MEMORIAL OR SHIELD CENT JUNK
•NO NON-SILVER U.S. DIMES

Hard to make that kind of statement on an "Unserached Roll". I will pass on grading these or helping Gus.

Unsearched meaning I've never looked at them. The rolls came from my Grandfather's collection he rolled them up years ago. I cannot be 100% sure that there is no memorial cents, he didn't collect them, however it is possible which is why I offer a refund (or replacement) if any memorial cents are found. He had boxes of these. I am assuming nothing of enormous value will be found since he also had books of Indians and Wheat Cents. I am selling one book's better dates currently. I have no idea how he rolled them or when he rolled them.

Thanks,
Noah

Not sure. I asked my Grandmother a few years ago when I started searching through his collection. She had no idea, didn't even know he had a collection.
