I went out to the Kane County flea market again this weekend and found some nice coins. Right when I got there I found a table with 10-15 Buffalo nickels and walked away with three of them:
1929 - $2, F12 - VF20
1936-D - $1, F12
1937-D - $2, VF20 - EF40

Found another Buffalo later on: 1934 - $2.25, VG8

Also picked up a 1953-S Jefferson for $.30 that I needed.

Finally, came across a table with little boxes of coins all over the place (mostly foreign). After some rummaging I walked away with a 1943 Australain Penny (I liked the kangaroo), a 1938 Australian Penny from England (I liked the seated figure and his trident, plus there's a shield and lighthouse), and a 1911 Liberty nickel (G4 at best, the reverse looks nice) all for $2.

I'd say overall, I did pretty well. I think the '34 was a little high, but the others made up for it.

I also saw a bag of 5 - 8 Buffalo's that had been 'domed' and made into buttons or pins ...

Very Good.

I just don't see coins at flea markets. Wish I did.

Nice. I didn't realize Kane County Fair Grounds had coins. For me just to far to go except for the gun shows. If I remember they charge for parking and entrance fees. One more reason I stay away. Lemont, Countryside and Itasca coin shows much closer. Also, Swaporama flea markets.

I made an ebay purchase as well. My first coin purchase I believe. I only need two of these but for the price and low shipping, I felt it was a deal. I now only need four more Roosevelts and my 1946 - present collection will be complete!
