1966 Round 50c In Roll

Back in the day I had my hands on 3 rolls of round 1966 50c pieces. Being a stupid kid I broke the rolls open and ended up using the money to buy some takeaway food lol. I was wondering, would the roll have been official R.A.M wrapped, are there rolls for sale like that? Or would it have been more likely done by a third party like a bank? I can't remember what was written on the roll now. What would something like that be worth?
