It's an excellent strike, this coin is way more impressive in hand. I'm not matte proof expert, in fact, I know very little about them....but I don't think this is even though the fields look that way. The fields are the first thing that attracted me to this coin, and they are indeed a bit "bumpy" as in the picture.
