I found this in some change today is it small date or large date?

By the look of the 7 it looks low to me. I'm going with Large Date.

Wish I could take better pictures. If you click the picture it will enlarge but anyways thanks for the reply I think I already have a large date so I'll toss this in the copper box.

Large...... Seven has a long tail and is not even with the top of the 9 & 0.

large date the liberty is why to stronge and the 7 look low(have one in bu)

i paid only 25.00 off ebay for it.for helper to all who look for this coin .look for a weak liberty and use a pc of paper and check the 7 it must touch the line like the 9 and 0

Toniblab, yes--a weak LIBERTY is a good marker, but I've been confused about how weak it should be?
I've also observed that the 7 and 9 have distinctly different shapes on the small date. In particular, the LD 7 has a notch that runs roughly diagonally between the inside and outside of the corner. In case anyone's curious by what I mean, Charles Daughtrey has written a good explanation here. This writeup helped me a lot!
