Anybody else believe this is a 42/1 d and where would you put the grade

The image is really too small to make a definitive determination but I am about 95% sure it is not a 1942/1.

Yeah , need a close up shot at date to determine , but I'm pretty sure it's At least a 64, probably closer to 65FSB .

Agreed we need a much closer view of the date. 1942/41 P are a lot easier to see. The Denver version is a lot harder to see without decent magnification. If it is a 42/41d I'd say 64fsb all day. I am pretty sure this isn't a over date unfortunately.

Nice 42-D dime that's at least a 65 fsb but not the over date.

That's a really nice coin...MS65FSB, Usually the overdate is a little more obvious, but I've not seen many overdates!
