wanted to see how this macro lens would perform on the sony a7rII. I used 1 single ottlite. no processing of the photo all I did was take crop of the photo. first I can see that sony with one light is different. looks good

wanted to try a Canadian. Half Dollar not to bad no editing just a crop photo. this is a very good lens

you might be leveraging the better dynamic range of a full frame sensor. The ASE shot looks particularly interesting. I recall looking at the Elicar some years back if I recall correctly it is quite expensive. Can you post a photo of it?

Edit: just checked on ebay: my memory was wrong its not too expensive.

austrokiwi I knew you would know what I did with the camera. yes the ELICAR was designed for medical work. I got the lens very reasonable. it came with a canon camera plus a canon flash. I will take a picture a little later.

austrokiwi the writing on the sides of the lens. these are medical terms. here is a couple of images
