What Type Of Casing Should I Store Coins In

Any suggestions on what type of coin collecting books I should look for. I like Whitman albums; some prefer Dansco albums. maybe get an inexpensive 7x loupe, check Wizard coin supply for good prices. Report this Post to the Staff

spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 02/07/2017 10:58 pm I just recently got into collecting and I have a few things: -The 2017 RedBook (inexpensive and packed with info) -A PVC-free 3-ring binder with BWD 20-pocket pages (inexpensive) that hold 2x2 cardboard flips or 2x2 Saflips (more expensive) -A Whitman Jefferson nickel album (for the circulation set I'm working on) The albums are more expensive but a lot nicer. The folders are inexpensive. Both offer versions for coin types, date sets, etc. I also have quite a few world coins so I got a used 20th-Century Krause Catalog that is also packed with info. batboy Pillar of the Community United States 650 Posts	Posted 02/08/2017 2:44 pm In addition to what has already been said, if you're hunting through a lot of rolls, then you could be pulling out quite a few coins. I use the plastic tubes to store my extras and culls. I have round tubes because that's what I started out with 50 years ago. A lot of folks use the square tubes (they don't roll and the pack nicely into a box). I know Wizard Coin Supply has a bunch of coin tubes to choose from. Report this Post to the Staff
