These so often come as smush head. I figured this to be pretty decent for a 26-D

I agree, that's pretty nice for a 26d. You can tell it's seen little or no circulation due to the mottled tarnish (patina?). Full head is kind of like full split bands on a dime. It can be fresh out of the roll and have slight imperfections.
Rest in Peace

Definitely NOT a Full Head.
Also note that the device in the middle of the shield has no apparent details.
The strike was a bit soft; take that into account if you go for it.

Compare the details on these two SLQ's.
The first one is similar to yours and is NOT a Full Head (it is graded MS-64).
The second one IS a Full Head and is graded MS-64FH.

, it does not look quite like a full head to me, but it still has good detail for the date, mm combo.

Attractive coin for sure, but just a so-so strike.

FH standards are different for Ty 1 and Ty II, but yes, its not FH. A FH 26-D in MS-64 would run $10,000 and this is a $200 coin. Its an NGC MS-63.
