I am looking to get a flat-cinch stapler to put some of my extra coins in 2x2s.
What are the pros/cons of getting a flat-cinch stapler that uses regular-sized staples vs. the mini-staples?
And what, exactly, are the 'codes' for the sizes that you order for the different staplers?
Thanks.
Michael

I got one from Staples that lasted just about a month before it stopped working. I took it back and the same thing happened again.

I went back to using my old 1960s stapler and a pair of pliers to flatten the staples. I also found using el-cheapo staples from the dollar store was not a good idea b/c there was were a LOT that did not penetrate the cardboard.

On the staple size question, I think every slab I've seen has been secured with the bigger staples.

I sort of borrowed staplers from work as well as the staples. I've been using those and regular pliers for a long, long time. I'd rather spend my money on the coins.
