O.K. , Maybe I will be the only one that got a chuckle out of this, but when I got a real close look at this AU (Yes it is AU- but a AU58 for sure) Walker, I took a look at the thumb..and it has a strategically placed hit that makes it look like she has a thumbnail ...now that's a well struck thumb ! Thanks for looking...again !

This looks MS65 to me although the chip out of the reverse rim at 6 o'clock might be more important to some graders. Very nice. I tend to collect Walkers as white as I can get them but I still appreciate toned examples like this.

That is really a strong strike. The left thumb is as complete as I've ever seen on a Walker and the head detail is also excellent. The surfaces and toning look original and based on the lack of bag marks and blemishes I agree this one deserves an MS-65 or maybe '66. The photos are excellent as well but do not show much luster. I assume luster is much stronger that what the images have captured.

I just hope the bluish color over Liberty's breast is not friction. A little bit of rub here will get you an AU-58.

Yes, the luster is real nice, my camera is kinda fickle. I can get luster or detail...not both, but sometimes I can get both...sigh...I can take ten in a row, only turning the coin , and each one will be different.

I really liked the strike on this one too Joabler, you don't often see a thumb that well defined. I have to get a pic of that thumb for you, I think we can get a chuckle out of it ! I will get it under the scope tomorrow and snap one to post.

Very nice walker, Infiniteinterest! From the pics, it sure has the look of a nice original ms65 coin!

Walkers with nice toning are tough, but they can be found. I sold this one a few years ago (I prefer the toning on the obverse), and as of yet have not been able to replace it.
