Some "tonings" are nothing more than soda in a car cupholder type staining the coin. Sometimes saltwater and sun, all this is ED, environmental damage. There are chemical "washes" that alter or add color. Look up "how to electroplate your own coins" on YouTube, thousands of how to's. You studying to become our next garage miscreant?
