Let's say that I have a coin in an old NGC slab that is MS 68 with nice color. The coin would probably be MS 67 without the color, so it probably got a bump up for eye appeal. If I resubmit for a star review, am I unlikely to get it since they already marked the coin up a grade?
Rest in Peace

moxking, this is more a hypothetical. If NGC gets a coin with outstanding toning, do they both bump the grade (if it makes sense to) and give star?

Which makes anything said a complete waste of time and irrelevant.

That's like being like hypothetically I have something worth 1k, should I review it to be worth more and could it be?

Can't give you an answer, as it depends on the individual coin.
