Hey there money junkies. So I was going through a roll of nickels I found a 2000 ?mm that had a higher voice than the rest. No pics at the moment sorry, but how is a picture gonna sound. Anyways I decided to throw it on my scale. It was 4.89g where as my other 2000s all ranged between 5 and 5.05g. does anhone have an idea as to why or what is going on? Thanks in advance

Is the strike weaker on either side? (Letters shorter in height?) If so it might be a thin planchet.
Are both sides readable? (Possible split planchet if one side is not looking normal)
But pictures are always better.

I will indeed take some pics when I get home from work.Is there value to something like this or just another singer with a higher voice?

Here is the best I could. I just don't see why it sounds different and weighs less.

With a weight of 5g and a tolerance of .18g,
the nickel is well within tolerance.
