So I was going through my copper cents and found a 69 with what I thought was PMD on the E in Cent. Not so sure anymore. The very next 69 I found had almost the identical issue. I suppose they both could have taken a hit in the same exact spot but I'm not seeing shifted metal. Any thoughts? Sorry for the blurry pics.

I think it was part of the design in the 60's,I see it alot.
