Just contact marks on the tail of the 9 and a piece of something on the lower end of the '9'.
Usually on DDO's on the date it is usually towards the east edge of the '9' on the coins with the milti-hubbed, higher profile on the devices on the dies at this time.
On the single squeeze dies with the lower profile, we see more splits on the tails of the '9'.
On the tops of the devices on the third image, you can see where the die was reduced a bit on the area of the date devices. Any removal of metal on the field near devices leaves a reduced area on the die. This shows up as a slight raised area. Not hub doubling, but die device abrasion on the field of the die. That is what you are seeing. Look at the tops of the devices for doubled dies. The edges of the die usually show all the Machine Doubling and die abrasion on those areas.
