1943 S Nickel. Is This A Plating Crack?

On the reverse side of this nickel is a visible crack to the left of the P mint mark. The left side of the crack is actually raised higher than the lower part.

Confused. This is an S mint mark, not a P as you state initially. And War Nickels are not plated. Then you show the reverse of a cent.

Sorry. Somehow I uploaded 3 wrong pictures. The 1st 2 pictures of the nickel are correct. These next 3 are the additional correct pictures.

I believe what you have here is a minor Lamination error.
