appears to be a large interior die break over the N and T of cent .

I don't think it's an Interior Die Break. Looks like damage to me. Maybe someone hit that area with a punch or something? PSD in my honest opinion.

Punched in on the reverse and pushes out on the obverse. Just coin damage.
