usroadrunner New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 01/18/2020 2:46 pm Hello every one, new member here I am not an every day collector I don't no much about coins yet I am here to listen/ask ? and learn about coins and stamps that I have but don't know much about, thanks for your help in advance. I have this coin I found but no info. It is a 1915 penny color like steel but not magnetic is it a fake no mint mark Report this Post to the Staff

Generally these guys like to see a photograph showing the entire obverse (the "heads" side), the entire reverse (the tails side), and then a closeup of any details if necessary. Generally when people report a steel colored cent that is not from 1943 it has been artificially plated, but photos will help determine that. Glad you are here! Report this Post to the Staff

If there is rub on the edge of the coin, you might see where the copper is underneath what ever was added to the coin. If the devices are falling over the edge of the coin, then it may have been struck on a dime planchet. The weight would be reduced though. But images will help us from speculating what you have.
