Perhaps minor Die Deterioration Doubling? I don't see the telltale signs of a DDR.

It looks like a normal dime. I am not seeing the signs of doubling. Have you by chance looked at Wexler's site or Variety Vista to see if you can find a match? Also, the second pic from your initial post is that of a quarter. A Roosevelt dime has no such design.

Photos taken with diffused lighting might turn out better. As always, full shots of the obverse and reverse are recommended--and very much appreciated.

Whatever happened to showing BOTH sides of the WHOLE coin in addition to close ups? Seeing the whole coin helps us a lot!
