I'm still learning to differentiate between the MD/DD on modern coins let alone on older coins like Peace and Morgan coins. It kind of looks shelf-like but the numbers also look bigger...thank you for any input.

I figured, and maybe the bottom portion of the numbers are smashed down a bit from PMD making it look bigger? Thanks for replying @John1.

Md. Look at the lack of curvature to the top surface of the digits in the date - circulation damage flattened them out. My guess as to why they look thicker.

MD. I've seen this on tons of 22-23 Peace $. Head over to VAMworld for a great tutorial
on the diff between MD and DD.
