1922 Peace Dollar - MD Or DD On The Date?

Bogiesmokes Valued Member United States 197 Posts	Posted 06/08/2021 10:17 am I'm still learning to differentiate between the MD/DD on modern coins let alone on older coins like Peace and Morgan coins. It kind of looks shelf-like but the numbers also look bigger...thank you for any input. Report this Post to the Staff

Look at the lack of curvature to the top surface of the digits in the date - circulation damage flattened them out. My guess as to why they look thicker.
