Please post clearer pictures of the coin(s) in question. Tell us where you bought them and how much you paid, how long ago they were bought, then we can better advise you on "how screwed you are"

to the CCF! Ouch. The damage to the coin is going to drop this to melt value. I hope you didn't pay much for it.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Arrived today payed $45. Thought because of the reflective surface it would be worth something but didn't notice the scratches until too late

Does the seller have a 'positive' return policy?

Sorry to hear. Sounds like you paid $45 for a $21 melt value. The "reflective" surface is from cleaning and the coin would be worth melt probably even without the scratches.

I'm afraid you paid way too much even if it weren't scratched. to the CCF!

It's not quite that bad. The value of cull morgans right now is around $30, you should be able to get at least that out of it

To CCF , I have to agree , the 1921 Philly Dollar is very common and probably the cheapest of all Morgan's . Kind of hard to believe you didn't notice the awful condition that this coin was in before you handed them $45 .

Keep it as a pocket piece, after a year or two it won't look that bad
