GOODNESS Gracious! what happened here? lots of zinc showing.
This looks like a plating issue, the ones on the revers appears to have the same arc as another cent. I wonder if 2 planchets were resting on top of this one during the plating process. (just a guess) I'm going to have to research the mints plating process to see if that is even possible.

No die chips, just peeled up copper plating and exposed zinc. I don't see why this wouldn't just be considered damage.
