I'm not sure how to say this clearly.
There's a 1913 D Buffalo nickel that has what looks like a DDR.

It appears that many 1913 D Type 1s, maybe all, also are DDRs. So maybe master die doubling.

What makes the coin of interest intetesting is that it has a clearly separated A to the west, 1st A in America, and other doubling anomalies which are not on any reference coins I could find.

Could the coin of interest be a double double reverse, or is there a simpler explanation for the difference, like I should have stopped at 3 bourbons?
